FAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the LT200HP a primary, secondary or tertiary crusher for Ecuadorian operations?

It serves as a secondary or tertiary stage. Operators in Ecuador would normally feed it pre-crushed andesite, river rock or similar material from a primary jaw crusher, then use it to make well-shaped base and concrete aggregate.

Cone crushing yields a consistent, cubical product that suits asphalt and concrete specifications. The closed side setting and feed grading control how fine the result is, and we can suggest settings for your mix designs.

Its application photos span Finland and Antarctica’s McMurdo Station, so cold and harsh dust are familiar territory. Hot, wet coastal or Amazon sites mainly call for careful cooling and filter care, while Andean altitude may need an engine review.

Nominal capacity is 500 t/h. Softer feed such as limestone approaches that figure, while harder volcanic rock produces less. We can give an informed estimate once we know your rock and target product.

With an operating weight around 32 tonnes and a tracked chassis, it is compact enough for lowboy transport and can drive short distances on site. Mountain roads still need route planning, which we can support.

MMPAS can put together financing and quotation support for this model. Tell us your contract size and schedule, and we will discuss structures that match.

Feed is limited to 185 mm. Rock from the quarry face must first pass through a primary crusher or scalping screen to reach that size.

The CSS is adjustable so you can move between products as demand shifts, for example from road base to chip. Your operators will receive guidance on the correct procedure and checks for the delivered configuration.

New Metso equipment carries a base warranty, and longer cover can be discussed with us. We list the exact terms for Ecuador in your written quotation.
